I make signs and stipes, and to be honest the best way to do this is the Hairdyer. However if you know anyone with a oven booth (as in a paint shop) this works an absolute treat, no hairdyer required etc, but you will be in you shorts and vests!!!

Another word of caution - Do not attempt outside whilst the temp is so low, this will chance the paint off. Also beware of any possible resprays areas as the paint is usually not as good as the manufactorers paint and lacquer, and will come off with the stickers at ease.

Also for the tacky sticker residue you can use chewing gum remover in moderation. But i always wash the car afterwards.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm going to have a little think about what I'm going to do.

I may just leave them on, because the last thing i want to do is peel that paint off! but thanks for the comments, i appreciate it.

You are worrying too much, honestly its simple, if you can work out how to open a bottle of milk without spilling it then you qualify to do the job. I use a small craft knife just to cut up large weedings, take your time and don get to confident if comes off easy, take your time and everything will be fine subject to the below again:

I did my fully stickered bug the other month mate its not too bad if you take your time and as has been said it needs to be warm. I didnt use a hairdryer, just peeled the stickers off slowly and lots of tar remover and dry clothes to remove the glue. Removing the glue is the hard part dont use any hot water on it, just use tar remover sparingly! good luck

If you dont warm the glue up it wont soften making it more likely to pull paint off
