Default Service Price?

Hi guys, I was just looking at getting my subaru serviced and had been looking at a place in Knottingley called Precious Metal... They specialise in Subarus.
I was just wondering if people thought 210 pounds for a full service was a good price?

Included in the service is;
Engine Oil drained and replaced with fully synthetic oil, genuine oil filter, genuine air filter, plugs changed, gearbox oil drained and replaced, rear differential oils drained and replaced, all levels checked and topped up where required and a free general inspection with detailed report.

Is it worth it for the 210pounds? And has anyone taken they car their before that can vouch for them?

Heres a link to the site .: PreciousMetal-Online.co.uk -

Thanks, Asif

Is that the equivalent of the newage 60k service? If so, it sounds like good value.

Many places speciallise in subaru's, its just that most are not that good.
Must admit that I have never heard of this place but ask around the west yorkshire scoob owners to see where they go (try the clubs area) and I would like to see what fully synth oil they use, a decent one will set you back 40-50 quid for the 5 ltrs you need.

£40-£50 Oil is not required for these cars.

The Speialists know it, the Main Dealers know it, Engineers know it ...... I spend about £12 for 5 Litres for Semi - perfectly good enough. But, if you must, pay £25-£30 ... as an Engineer I would advise caution on spending anything over £30 for Oil. That's my professional opinion.

The £210 quoted seems a fair price.

As above, seems a good price.

It for a 95' Wrx... Just got it so I'd like to service it so I can keep on top with the FSH

It does sound like a good deal tbh, but I'd really like to hear from people that have had work done or a service from their before.
I will ask around some yorkshire lads... Hopefully I should get a good response.

Thanks, Asif

I can recommend www.remotorsport.co.uk just up the road at Elvington
