Default Gutted by my own motor

WHAT is going on, i always thought subarus were well built till tonight! .My boot hinges have basically fallen apart! The two points on the hinges and one of the fixings holding the" boot Spring" have basically snapped. This is probably due to them being made out of 1mm metal!! Cant beieve this would happen on a 4yr old motor! Any ideas of a cheap repair or anyone else had this problem?

I've bought my first Subaru aswell and have never been under the elusion that they were built well, but that's not what they are about, my last car was a BMW 330 and it was a lot less fun

get a 335d remap it to 350 and you're sorted with the economy, sportyness, comfort, build quality and it will accellerate like no other diesel
