how would you know when it pulls out timing?and how long would it be with less timing for? i guess its better than flashing CEL. cause when you driving at speed its hard to look out for CEL. but i guess its a great addition i think thats all thats missing from simtek

Tbh you get paranoid about the cell light flashes, half the time the glare makes it invisible and other times it's just headlamps or reflections or other parts of the dash that catch your eye. All I want is to know is it's in hand and the cars is being retarded more than it normally is

Looking forward to this too...as my idle, as is the case with many is all over the place and yes the flashing check engine light is easy to miss - would be better to have something more obvious.
Im sure someone mentioned some kind of visual monitoring display that might be coming out that links into SimTek.....did I dream this!!!! I have a feeling I am talking crap
My flame suit on too

My idle was good and the became rubbish> With the simtek theres ofcourse no cel to tell you theres a sensor problem and it cant be read with an obd reader>
Anyway removed the idle control valve and gave it a good clean and all is back to normal.
Had this problem once or twice on the o/e ecu but it threw a cel> i find im needing to clean my idle control valve about every 6 months and its probably gunging up due to having done the coolant bypass mod on the throtttle body
