the thing im on about nxt to the air box it keeps ticking what could that be

 

dodgy connector, was what was wrong with mine, wd40 and back together again, or if you not had car long, someone could have connected the two green wires together, under the steering wheel, and forgot to disconnect, hope this helps

I had a 3 port boost solenoid fitted when I had my previous car mapped by Bob Rawle, it was a genuine JDM 3 port boost solenoid and it made a ticking noise which I understood was quite normal as it regulates the boost.
