This a general question to all scooby clubs/owners/drivers.
Could see on McRae Vison that we had to have the Colin McRae mosaic world record status changed as it was not an official mosaic as it was a spelling of his name and scottish flag.
World record for mosaic has now been taken by the far east.

What are people thoughts of trying an official mosaic of Colin McRae, just his face or whole body and re-entering it in to world record?

Worth passing it by the McRae family? McRae vision?

correct his face might be an issue - just a thought.

Colin in subaru gear might be possible as more blue than anything else or just of his winning car would be good.
Be awesome to get the world record back again. Take some planning but sure we could do it.

 

Japan have the title with only 300 cars making up the Subaru logo. Classed as mosaic

Our attempt had 1086 cars and is now classed as the Largest car logo/image.

L555 BAT mosaic would be amazing.

 

An abstract image of his face may be possible, just like the monroe pics you get in various colours, cannot think of the artists name at the moment though.

let the poor bugger rest in peace - hes gone. theres no need to make a mosiac to take pictures off an sell on again?

 

we are on about a mosaic or image of his car as easier with Subaru car colours.
Rather than of Colin.

Or we do a mosaic of the Subaru badge like they did in Japan and beat the world record.

 

Sorry folks but just checked Guinness World Record and it would seem that United Emirates now hold it with 400 odd cars creating their flag.

Will leave this thread open for a while now and see what everyone's thought are.

If its for charity too it will make it more worth while may be for richard and colins respective charitys mate...

 

what about trying some thing with richard burns name?

 

i think we could get enough cars to do 2 scoobs.. one with a number 3 and one with a number 5... and it could be one big mosaic... no money or pictures to be made from it... just everyone donates some money for a charity of some sort related to burns or mcrae.. and we all get free pictures from above!

 

yes for Burns and McRae sounds good. Or a mosaic for rallying in general of a scooby.

Could collect and take pictures and all for charity. Not sure which ones though.
