What's the WORST thing you have bought for your Scooby?
In the spirit of xmas, and just for some fun ... what's the worst thing you have bought for your car (doesn't really have to be a Scooby)
It could be anything from a Backbox which sounds like a moped to a Zillion light device which tells you that your bright switch is broken - anything from a Kocklink Random Light Generator to a £50 4 Litre carton of Super RallyX Rapid Fully Synthetic SooperDooper Oil.
Me? I've not bought anything pathetic and pointless for my Scooby - but, way back in the depths of time, when I was a kiddie like you lot - I did buy a couple of whip aerials and a pair of headlamp wiper washers which rotated as I drove along cleaning my headlamps (but cutting the light output by 50% in the meantime!)
Over to you .......

Mine has to be my last lot of Red stuff pads. Used them for 4 years, not a problem stopped very well (on 2 pots) with very little fade. First 2 sets were great, the 3rd set are lethal!!
Have heard since that they have toned down the Red stuff and now Yellow stuff is the direct replacement as the new Blue stuff pad is the racing pad. Haven't had any off this confirmed - purely word of mouth.
Have just got a set of Brembos to go on so should be all good soon.

Once paid £1200 to have a proffesional "matt black" paint job picked car up after work it was dark.
On way home grill fell off and went under front wheels. then rear arches fell out (had been fillered) Then next morning i went out to discover they had painted it in satin black and because it was too shiny gone round it with a scouring pad........
That was all in a mk3 astra that i put £7500 into. Im ashamed to admit it but it did have a "scoobykillerz" rear window sticker lol

I did the same, and a universal e-tech alloy tailgate spoiler which looked stupid.
Also a few years later I bought lexus lights for a calibra, were horrible but kept them on as I paid for them and knew I wouldnt manage to sell them for much.

Actually I can go one better than my lexus lights believe it or not...
When I were a lad I used to have a saxo vtr, it was my first decent car and was nearly new when I bought it. Anyway I'd had it a couple of years and decided to fit a stainless backbox(can't remember what make but it wasn't cheap!) took it to a local garage to fit it which they did while I waited in waiting room.
A few days later I was driving to work with a stupid grin on my face thinking how cool my car sounded, next thing all I can hear is the exhaust blowing like a biatch. I pulled over as soon as I could which was about 2 mins later to find my nice shiny new backbox was missing!!!!
The stupid tw@ts at the garage had neglected to tell me tha the original exhaust was rusted and knacked and they had bodged the backbox to it.
I drove back down where I had just come from as soon as I realised but someone had already took it!

I haven't bought anything daft for my scoob, but when I got it, it had a godawful vinyl cartoon of scooby doo on the back window. I removed it, but still to this day when I get condensation I can see a faint image of the barstard thing.

luckily seen the error of my ways so everything has been pretty well researched for the sti, my old classic was a different matter though
TSL firestorm - utter 5hite and hated it. lasted about a week.
about 4 spoilers. one of them being a fast & furious metal wing. although to be fair it was put on for free by a magazine
but worst is some apec brake pads, my first experience of proper brake fade not good when chasing your mate on a stretch of roundabouts.
he thought i was 'being brave under braking', i thought i was going to die

When I was 18, I bought a pair of Rover Metro bonnet vents and bolted them on my MK III Astra.
.........D1ckhead
Oh and acutally paid a graphics company to have Astra put down the side!
.........Ultra D1ckhead

I fitted big spotlights to one of my fiat unos, flattened the battery testing them, then decided to wait until after dark to bump start it. We pushed it down the hill, i left the lights off to save what was left of the battery for ignition so i couldn't see the road properly. I strayed off it onto the verge, hit a telegraph pole and, you guessed it, fecked one of the newly fitted spotlights! Damn things had to come off after that as it looked stupid with just one
