MOT before it is due

I am about to fit a full de cat to my my99 its first MOT is due in July. Can I have the MOT done now so I can get a full year before i will have to replcae the centre CAT and MOT it again?

You can have the car MOT'd now, it will run out in exactly a years time.
If you want to run concurrently, you can only have an MOT done upto a month before its due, so if its due on 1st July you can have it done 1st June, in this case the MOT will run out 1st July 2003, effectively giving you 13months MOT.
