Default Diff Oil?

Hi All,

Is the diff oil in a 2006 STI the same as the gearbox oil?
I changed my gearbox oil not long ago to TITAN GEAR SYN 75W-90.
Is this OK for the diff?
Also, how d you guys get it in? I know where to put it in etc, what do you use?

Yes you can use the same oil. i normally use a big syring to get the oil in as it can be abit of a battle with a big bottle.

Another tip if you are changing the oil.

Make sure you can undo the upper fill plug before removing the drain plug, they can seize/round off and then you can't refill the box, it has happened LOL
