AARGGGHHHH Noooooo.... stop the cheque
CB350 - I had one of them 10 years ago. The positive side is that it made me learn the "art of motorcycle maintaince". But in the end I actually changed to yam powervalve coz it was less problematic. So:
Wheel spindles & bearings seized in wheels
Brake pad bolts seized in calipers
Brake disks wore past minimum
Fork internals (damping & the "rebound restraint" thing) fell to bits
Headrace bearings going (complete nitemare to replace)
Rear swingarm bearings going (ditto)
Cam chain went (and the bolts holding the barrels on seized)
Exhaust cracked
Rubber things behind the carbs cracked
After the 'valve I've stayed with hondas (cbr's & vtr's) which have been incredibly reliable. But the CB was a PoS & not worth the pain for 34 bhp....
Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear.

Duncan,
You'll have plenty of time to admire the scenery then... 'cos it won't be going past that fast....
I think red frames were going out of fashion when the CB350 came out. I had done my old Suzuki GT250 a few years before...
Still, enjoy!
As Ogri says 'Stuff everything - I've always got my bike!'...
