Default Kudos of V-Ltd Type R over Type R??

Do people think more highly of the Type R V-Ltd over a Type R (non Vltd).

Iv been looking at Ver5/6 Type R's & cant decide. Im not actually sure if its even worth considering one over the other as there is nothing really between them. (Id rather decide on condition; colour & mileage etc).
The only difference IIRC between the two is the V-Ltd has a shorter steering rack than the already shorter Type R rack; Roof Scoop; WR blue colour & different colour interior. The Type R Vltd is not even limited to numbers but just limited generaly over the years of production. Its the "RA" Vltd that was limited with actual numbered cars.

So is there any perceived kudos in a V-Ltd over a non V-ltd Type R?

No they dont
Both run virtually the same equipment, the v ltd has quick rack as standard and a roof vent, those are the main differences.

Rick, you will be disappointed by the type R after coming from a Spec C, trust me they are fun but no where near as good a car

To be honest i own an sti ra limited.......and its fairly well modded.

But if i were to do it again.....i,d buy and early sti ra.....as a track car..and prpbably one that had allready been mostly modded...ie engine/gearbox/suspension/brakes.

Just one thing about the type r v-limited.......it was only uo to the version 4 cars that had the title v-limited ....

The version 5/6 cars were titled "Limited"

I actually think that the V-Limited seats are uglier than than the regular Type R seats. But the faster steering rack and roof scoop would be nice

Rick stick to your original plan, i.e. mileage, colour and condition lol..
