Cheers pal, that what I thought.
A work college of mine said that one of his mates had a wrx saloon and that he wanted to fit the bigger turbo from the wagon! I said that that didn't sound right and I asked about the usual upgrades that go with it such as intercooler, injectors, ecu etc. Apparently the guy is just going to fit a stage 2 turbo from a wagon. 'Ok' I said. 'Good luck with that!'

TD05/16g is OE on all Phase 1 UK turbos, be it saloon or Wagon
It is also OE on all Phase1 WRX saloons, but the phase1 WRX wagons got the TD04
Phase1 is MY93-MY96

yep my wagon my95 wrx import had a td04 on it i changed it for a vf28 thats much better.. i have still got the old td04 its a good one so keeping it for spare or if anyone on here ever has the need for it let me know .
