Its normal yep traction is great> Just remember like all other cars they dont stop very well in snow/ice and the abs is over sensitive
The power distribution depends on what model you have?

as said the AWD is great for getting up hills, i put it to good use today by crawling up a hill that others demeaned inpassable. but it doesn't matter how many driven wheels you have it won't help you stop any quicker and it won't save you if you hit black ice in a bend so still take it easy.

Yea. I had a scary moment the other day in the snow!
Going down a steep hill in the slush, was going no more than 10mph because it was properly slippy and the back end tried to overtake me! Eventually got control and cruised to the bottom where I parked up and began breathing again.
Getting up the hills generally not a problem but what goes up must come down!

back end came round slightly, tried correcting by easing off didn't work then a touch of throttle regained slightly but pointing towards a car and slid into it
At least a wing, FMIC, rad, morrettes, bumper and bonnet gone
only had it a couple of months

I vary it, only using the 'Lock' for extreme slippy hills, as if you are low speed turning it will cause the fronts to slide. I always keep it as open as possible and just have my finger ready to increase it as needed.
