I'm looking at getting some wider rims for my classic type r

The arches were rolled in Japan so i thought i could get away with some wider rims

Any help greatly appreciated and i want to keep the camber in standard racing form

So what width / size , please any pics / links to some nice split rim designs also a great help

I've currently got Rota Gra's & Rota Grid Racing both 17's

It really depends on how much camber you run, the offset of the wheel and what type and size of tyre you're going to use.

Generally 7.5" or 8" wide is normal.

i think both sets of rota's are 7.5 was thinking something a little wider

i always thought 8" was the max without serious arch mods on a classic..........

look for at a set of 8" rims now then any reccomendations
