Default whiteline adjustment advice

i am going to adjust my rear arb today and wondered if anyone has any tips before i get into it.
its on medium at the moment but i am adjusting to hard today.I seem to have a lot of understeer still.....

it has got eibach pro street coilovers on that were set on 18's but the car is now on 17's so could that be the problem?

as soon as you push it the steering goes light and if you go any quicker the front just slides.

my mates civic type r went round the outside of me on a roundabout the other day and i was right on the edge of adhesion.any quicker and i would have lost the front and slid into him.his civic just gripped and passed me.i was not happy.

i know the weathers cold and the roads can be greasy but if he can grip enough to go round the outside of me then i have problems.

Not exactly the most intelligent thing to be doing on a public road unless of course this was on your own race track

Also by the laws of physics you are having to corner tighter to keep in your lane as you are on the inside lane of the roundabout and that is the reason why the CTR can go past you. Also do not under estimate the CTR, they handle very well.

Sounds like the set-up is quite stiff, and wheel size is irrelevant in this case. Stiffening the rear bar will tend to reduce understeer/ promote oversteer, BUT was it just too greasy to hold the line ?

Agreed it may have been greasyish and I was holding a tighter line but he had to travel a greater distance than me and still passed.if anything the outside lane of a roundabout is slippier as all the loose gravel etc is deposited on the outside of a roundabout.

Anyway I went to adjust the rear anti roll bar today and found it was on the first hole not the middle as I thought.so instead of going to firm I adjusted into the middle.just need the roads to dry now

The hole furthest from the bar's width is the softest setting...

Just incase you weren't sure.

Furthest is softest, you have stiffened it. And you have the option of going further if needed.
