Default WRX individual coil packs

Hey guy's i have investigated a slight miss-fire this week, i have found that on 3 of the individual coil packs underneath the rubber that fits over the spark plug, that the surround has cracked. When the rubber is in place it does keep all the bits together but could these cracks let the spark roam around inside the port and cause a slight miss-fire? Any info on this would be great thanks. The car is a 1995 wrx imp.

Cheers for the input mate. The miss-fire happens mostly at low revs or at first quick injection of power.

obv check your plugs also

altho my misefire was higher up rev range

it could be something unrelated to that mate - but the cracking at coils isnt going to get better - so worht doing anyway.

and it sounds as tho your saying its not just small hairline cracks, but the actual rubber is holding the ends together?
