Default adjustable fuel pressure regulator

hi,what afpr are most people using?whats the best to go for?whats to be avoided?why do they range from £90-200)any info would be appreciated.looking to purchase a decent one in the near future so i can maximise my 440 injectors

Most recommended FPR is I think

Fuellab or aeromotive.
The cheaper end are copies of the above.

are they easy to fit into standard fuel lines?

not for my99 its not,i dont want to go over 340bhp anyway so i thought get a decent fpr and push the 440s a bit harder rather than spending 370 quid for injectors and probably needing a fpr anyways.

im running a vf35,and to get the 330 it needs more boost so ive been advised by my mapper that we will need an afpr if im not going to uprate the injectors.

on a vf34 mine made 341bhp with room to spare, so not sure how 330 would be to much for em

with what mods? mine was mapped to 297/303 running standard tmic etc.the extras i have for my next map is sti8tmic,3 port,genome backbox,ported headers.

decat, front mount, induction kit, autronics and supporting mods like ppg box, oil cooler etc. also still running standard headers

not sure tbh, top mount will be a restriction, also may spend half your time killing maf sensors. thats why i went ot the autronics, blew two while mapping.

still on standard fpr and 440 injectors

well i dont know but im on ecutek and my mapper has advised the fpr so surely this is the way to go as i might be dissapointed otherwise.?

Fitted a Fuelab regulator to mine last year, only because it cost me nowt though.

Mine made 330bhp on 380cc injectors, standard FPR + ECU + headers, FMIC and, Revolution DP and Nur Spec @ 1bar on a TD05 16g.
