Default big big help please

hi guys i was out wiring in a stereo today on my 06 plate sti hawk and while fitting had to go into the house a couple of times and now my car wont start theres plenty of life in the battery but the stereo isnt coming on and the alarm beeps once i neded this fixed as i have to go to hospital tonight thanks kenny

does it turn over? do you hear the fuel pump kick?
Did you cut ne wires whilst fitting new stereo?

i didnt need to cut the wires mate its not turning over either you can hear the fuel pump wirring and theres loads of lights on the dash

have you checked your fuses you could check your fuses start with the simple things

is deffo something to do with the immobiliser as i got the alarm to sound off there with turning the key back and forward

put key in, turn to 2, press button, turn to start, does sound like immob.

Also try putting the original stereo back in and see if it works that way. Also if you have your imobilser code to hand, type it in to disarm it and see if that works.

problem fixed guys thanks very much it was a fuse under the bonnet pwwwhhh was really worried there

Bet it was the 15A fuse in the top right of the fuse box. I had exactly the same ( wouldn't turn over, alarm giving a single beep when I try) when I blew that fuse installing some gauges.

big thanks to all the guys that posted trying to help me out really app it
cant believe a fuse that runs interior lights stops the car starting wtf!!
