Default Perrin spoiler splitters

has anyone on here had any experience of the perrin spoiler splitters? i was considering these for my hawkeye sti as the spoiler seems quite flimsy. was hoping for 3No. do they fit well? Perrin performance sell them apparently.
pics would be great if you have them, the hawkeye in redline magazine had a couple and i think they are a great idea
cheers

That hawkeye belongs to budgie on here, have to say no seen it in the flesh but it does look a good motor. There was a group buy on here but I don't think it came to muh as they are something silly like £50 each. Have a shifty through the group buy section

I had 3 on my old Hawkeye, they are a worthwhile mod as the STi spoiler flexes at speed. Have a look at my car to see how they look, just a small tip though double up on the tape on the outer stiffis as the further out from the centre you go the bigger the gaps.

I would not buy them from TSL, try Vivid racing or MAP performance from the US as even with postage and taxes they were a lot cheaper.

2 or 4, i dont think 3 will work
as for mine, they are made from aluminium
all the new ones are black plastic AFAIK
to be painted to suit

They are on our 'to make' list out of urethane plastic, and should be a lot cheaper

Mark
Will you be doing them for other spoilers rather than just OE type? Would love some for mine on my Bugeye but it aint an STI one, its a bit lower.

Not sure yet?. Would need to be a very popular spoiler , as the tooling (mould) is very costly!

Cheers,
Mark.

Not too sure yet, but will be cheaper than the perrin ones depends on tooling costs!
