Lime Green Caliper Paint. Where to get it?

Default Lime Green Caliper Paint. Where to get it?

Hi Chaps,

Asking on here as google isnt throwing much up.

Im after some lime green Paint for my calipers. However i want it in aerosol as it gives a much better finished.

However i cant find it anywhere.

Anyone know what i can get some?

hmm i do have a spray gun attachment for my compressor. Rekon i could shuv tinned paint in that instead?

You might be better off getting a paint shop to mix the paint in with some hight temp stuff.

Use Hammerite Smoothrite, mix green and yellow until you have your colour, mix in a jar, apply by brush, equal to most sprayed finishes, and as hard-wearing as any.

good idea. i already have a can of yellow.

i can always paint with brush and if i dont like the finish i can always repaint them.

You can pick up a can for 8 bucks a napa auto parts. i did the same for mine

Make sure you get HT Stuff other wise it wil just come off the calipers..... you will also need some high temp laquer.

Are you taking the calipers off to paint/spray them ? If you re be VERY careful putting the calipers back on and with the bleeding as the break fluid will just mash the paint.

yea i did pick up the ht stuff. still 8 bucks and it even says caliper paint on it. i think it goes up to like 900 degrees

yup and it will stay tackie untill it is run on the car, no amount of home cooking is going to bake that stuff on properly LOL

nah it looks good on my car since my car is green anyway with white rims, green neons and a big *** spoiler not to mention my decal that resembles the one from the fast and furious eclipses

itll be a little too green with the rims.
