Default how long before you conclude you have been ripped off?

How long would you give another person time to post an item after sending a payment? a week? 2 weeks? 3 weeks?

I sent a bank transfer to someone on here 27th Dec and i still havnt got my item. He was last online 2 days ago and hasnt answered any of my PM's iv sent him.

Gettin a little suspect now, bit of a **** take considering i payed straight up. Have sent another pm, im quite annoyed theres people out there like this still as everyone other single person iv dealt with on SN has been sound

Will name and shame if no response by end of the working week.

Two weeks i would say, given the poo weather and if he can be bothered to walk to ther post office/phone for courier pick up. Demand your item, if no answer back by friday, demand your money!!!!!

If someones online, and not bothered to answer you queries on an already delayed transaction, thats when you conclude you have been ripped off.

Hope you get it sorted.

........in my opinion, paying by bank transfer isnt very clever, always use paypal as atleast u have a bit of back up.....u can normally get your refund from them if it goes **** up,although the charges are a bit expensive,it then seems worth the money when u get done by someone!makes me wild!! hope u get it sorted,as above send the link to this thread to him and see if he replies, somehow i dont think he will as he has already been online and ignored your pms.name and shame time! did he have a trader score?

If he's had your money and is not replying to pm's, then I'd say that he's taking the p**s. A week max, after that I'd name and shame as a minimum.

Whilst you are giving him the benefit of the doubt he is probably ripping other members off too. He aint answering PM's, you know he has been on SNet, he has had you mate! Gutted for you, and I know it makes a person feel rather sh!tty.

I think it is time you named this guy so we can all steer clear.

Name and shame now.

If he's been on here and is refusing to reply to your PM's, I'd assume he was taking you for a ride

Good luck bud.

Agree about the name and shame thing. Forget the end of the week.

I've sold lots of parts on here recently and every parcel has been posted within 1-3 days of payment. There is no excuse for this amount of time without contact.

Others could be getting ripped off as we speak so act fast.

I would not, you are hoping against hope!
If he is active on the site and genuine then he has had ample opportunity to provide the item or contact you for a refund/ explanation etc.
As others have said, he could be ripping others off whilst you are giving him a couple more days.
Name and shame then PM with a link to this thread so that he can defend himself if he wants.

There's too much of this schitt going on here which ruins it for all the genuine people
