Fitting fog light covers

Default Fitting fog light covers

How easy is it to fit Fog light covers to a STi.The previous owner had WR1 driving lamps fitted to it and i want to cover them.

You just align the tabs and push them in place M8. 10 seconds tops

You will need to remove the fog light surrounds first, just pull to release tabs. Covers then push fit into same tab slots. Easy job.

They just push straight on mate,and they hold on with clips (sort of) moulded into the plastic,my car had the same fogs in it.I took them out before fitting the covers and sold them on ebay for a tidy some!! as i wasn't gonna use them anymore,and it was more than enough to cover the cost of the covers

Easy peasy job, take a look at my WRX <<<<<<<<< with STI covers on. Just remove the surrounds and clip them in.

Cheers guys, just one last question.I got a pretty good idea what I'm doing but i just wanted to double check how to remove the surrounds.

If you look at the covers I think they must use the same clip locations as the covers you are going to put in. I'm sure that you need to remove the surrounds by unclipping from near the numberplate ends first and then they sort of hinge out towards you with the long clips are at the furthest outer edge of the car.......if that makes sense. I used something plastic rather than metal to avoid any damage to act as a lever.

Leave them in looks better with them,

Pillerless grill or a nice black STI badge
