In the fours year's I've had the car the aircon has had no gas in it, and I can't say the temperature sat in traffic jams in this country has ever been an issue

I have black interior and black leather seat, I need air con
Who said 50 BHP ? Its not like your going to have the air con on if your racing around the track. If its weight reduction your after go on a diet

Aircon comes into its own when you need to clear your windscreen of condensation. It's not just for hot days...

Having stripped my RB5 recently I know the weight of the pump and pipes to be 8KG.
The rad is light [1KG ish] so no more than 10KG.

Think I'll keep the aircon. I will leave one of the kids at home, that save 13Kgs!
