Yes it's ok to go with standard set up, check all your fluids before you hit the track and I mean everything, then your brake pads/discs etc as well and keep an eye on everything throughout the day, thrashing the ar$e off your car lap after lap takes its toll on everything so keep an eye out, also if your still on standard brakes watch out for brake fade as well, try and do a warm up and cool down lap before entering/leaving pits

Above all have fun, its a blast!

The standard pads wont last very long on the track , as a minimum I would change the front pads , the last thing you want to do while out enjoying yourself is having to back off because you have lost them , fit something like Mintex M1155 at £125 a set , or Ferodo DS2500's at £150 a set
I have these in stock for next day delivery if you need them
Cheers Ian

Good advice above also make sure you have good tires and pleanty of tread or a full spare set as you don't want to be driving home on ilegal rubber
