radio reception problems

Default radio reception problems

hi can anyone help with this problem
i keep losing the reception on my head unit.
i've tried both OEM stereo and after market and the
problem is still occuring.any help please

have the same problem, the reception in my 2003 sti is crap, but my 2002 wrx was fine in the same area.

my 2004 wrx is crap on my kenwood head unit. lucky if i can listen to any radio

Sounds like the installer of the new headunit forgot to supply power to the antenna from the head unit. The subaru antenna needs 12 volts as it is a boosted unit. If I remember correctly it is a white wire on the vehicles radio harness.

My 03 Is exactly the same i will give what the above post states ago tomorrow and will post again to inform if im lucky or not.
Hopefully iam its boring listening to cd's all the time. You gotta love Chris Moyles in the Morning

+1 on this i think this is an antenna problem.

hi thanks for the help the problem seems to be cured due to the fact that the white wire
in the loom was broken. i connected together and have good reception again
