Default got pulled today

i got pulled over today and i had my seat belt on but it was under my arm pit, the cop gave me a £60 fine

my question is, is it against the law to wear a seat belt like that ?

I imagine the fine is for failing to wear your seatbelt correctly ? bummer ! never mind live and learn.

Technically if it's not being worn properly you have failed to wear your seatbelt I guess. On what grounds and with what success you could appeal I really wouldn't like to speculate.

c'mon laydees rest the handbags.... and its £60 now as people were ignorin the £30 fines accordin to the bobby who caught me last august,

under armpit means you dont lose your arm in high impact collision.....
I would contest it but find out if its worth doing so ie what is the law on it?

yeah its illegal to wear it like a numpty apparently the injuries can be horrific under your arm.
It isn't too much of a chore to wear it correctly?

No point contesting it ,seatbelts are to be worn correctly.If they are worn any other way they will not protect you - which is why he fined you.
