since getting my 97 uk classic i have been told no other ecu can be used(wrx,sti etc...)on the my97-my98 cars.
seen this on ebay and he states that it has a jdm sti ecu fitted.
what you all think

I was told the same thing when i had a uk car. Just bare in mind the obvious, if you can get an sti ecu to work it will be telling your car to rev up to 8000 revs which it can't as it's limited to 6000, then bang.

Speak to jollygreenmonster on here who is a full time mapper for professional advice.
