Default clouds of smoke and clunking noise from turbo

help guys i hav just bought a my93 wrx import she was missfireing a little bit when i got her so i changed spark plugs and coils and found that 3 spark plugs had the ends broke of now since she was running fine but today i wen out there started her up and noticed she was smoking a lil more then usual on idle so i touched the throttle a lil and noticed clouds of smoke and a clunking noise coming frm wot i believe to be the turbo the noise is iregular also i have checked for milky substance round oil filler and dipstick the car was bought sold as seen and i cannot get hold of the guy i got it from (convienient)

please guys any help would be apriciated

sounds like ur turbo is rogered. was there any "mayo" in the oil cap?

no mayo in oil cap no oil in water not overheating

suspected turbo mate. shouldnt cost you a fortune and pretty simple to do your self if your capable.

what colour is the smoke?

So its not oil then which is good. Sounds like the turbo mate.

Is the smoke from cold start? What about when it gets to normal operating temps?

its at all temps i think its turbo the one on there is td05 so need to source another any help greatly apriciated

Just out of curiosity. Why would a failing turbo cause white smoke?

Lots of TD05's on ebay, just got to trust your buying a good one.

sounds like engines been running too lean so burnt ends off plugs, my guess is might need more than a turbo, hope u've got deep pockets.
