I also have the S mated to a H&S straight through centre pipe with the prodrive sports cat. Its a lovely sound - loud but not OTT. There is a different tone to it over the afterburner/H&S jap style box. I loved my jap style but now prefer the Blitz and am glad i changed

lol, i thought i was bad with back boxes, you're taking it to a new level powerwrx
trouble is, what is it you're trying to achieve? a quiet tick over with all hell breaking loose up the rev range or just deafness from starting up? or do you just get bored with them easily?
the nearest i've got to ticking all the boxes for civilised mayhem is the genome, but then you know about that already if that doesn't work for you mate i'm wondering what there is left to try!!

i must be getting old, it's about as loud as i'd want it now TBH
looking back to the good old days of a full decat and afterburner vortex, no wonder the neighbours hate me and call me their personal alarm clock
best of luck mate, can't be many more to tick off the list now to try
any tuners got any advice with an exhaust system/backbox combo to give you what you want?
i wouldn't have the patience to try different combinations of catted/silenced sections but maybe this is the only way to get the sound across the rev range that you're after?

I'm thinking tho of replacing the centre section with 1 with the sports silencer in it cos at 60+ its reverbs thro the car quite a bit.

Why not try some equal length headers to change the tone of the exhaust especially on full chat.
