Advice please PPP ?

Default Advice please PPP ?

Looking at this sti and the guy says,it has the ppp,but he does not have the certificate,how do I go about checking that it's fitted ?thanks chaps for any info. Daz.

The PPP is "sold" as an individual item for each car and is ordered individually off Prodrive. Both the dealer and Prodrive will have a record for each vehicle / VIN that have had PPP fitted.

Should be able to contact the dealer who fitted or prodrive with the VIN for confirmation.

Rang Prodrive,who put me onto Subaru UK,where they told me it had been brought in from Malta,UK spec car,also no history of having ppp fitted, ah well,nice that you can do a check like that, thankyou Subaru and for the help folks.

To be fair, the PPP bits could have been bought second hand and fitted afterwards. I've did this with my WRX so I've also got a PPP but no certificate. Just a thought...! Probably best having a look at the car and checking for the actual parts.

The original cost of the PPP was £1600 (well it was for my bugeye).........however it can be had second hand for much less so it doesn't add a whole lot to the sticker price.
