Default Which are the best Insurer's?

Hi there, can anyone advise a good insurer?
I am 55, live in Derbyshire, have an 06 Hawkeye2.5 STi and have just been quoted £627 renewal.
Thanks,
Peter

My best quote this year was with Keith Michaels... 340bhp '97 STi all mods declared, I'm 25 with 7 years NCB and one claim against me from last year.

Quote was fully comp, bonus protected and all mods declared (and theres alot of them)

Hope this helps... i've also heard A-Plan and Sky Insurance are supposed to be good but i've no dealings with them

Both A-Plan and Keith Michaels are the people to phone. I only use these two companies as with all mods declared they have always given me he best prices.
A-Plan - 01635 874646
Keith Michaels - 0208 6427868 and ask for Gary Moulson. Gary is the man who does Subaru specialist quotes for us on here.
Please look at the insurance section of Scoobynet as all your questions will be answered there better!

Keyword being Standard. Dodgy subject that - I have heard of claims being rejected because different tyres were fitted...

What about air fresheners? do they count as a performnce enhancement? I wouldn't put it past them charging extra for them.

I wish they'd start charging these people riding round on bicycles etc on our roads btw, might bring our costs down quite a bit.
