I`m not disagreeing with your statement but the ratio of Idiots on the track is a lot less compared to on the road don`t you think

I was at a lot of these track days when shaw and gallagher have been up with focuses and escorts. This is not bad driving, from what i seen it was good drivers battling it out. Ive been watching your build thread on your big bhp car for time attack and unless your prepared to drive the way these guys drive (on the limit) you'll not see the podium very often.. Only my opinion.. looking forward to watching the time attack this year, best of luck. Will keep an eye out for this beast of a car coming.

I can't see anything wrong with it either, better than trying to do it on the road, I must admit that takes ***** of steel with a car thats probably got to get you home after.

Wow, what a video. My palms are sweating just watching it.

I don't think it was irresponsible driving really, better they do it on a track like that than on the roads I say. There were one or two moments where the guy in front was being a bit of a lunatic when approaching other track users - but then, I guess it's a track and people need to expect people to be ragging their cars around.

All in all very enjoyable vid, really impressive driving skills from both (especially the nutcase in front).

woah i never said anything about bad driving i just said it was mental which it is,they have awsome car control and are clearly talented/mental drivers, you wanna read properly before havin a pop, and no i wont drive my time attack car like that your right mainly as it will clearly not be the fastest way round the track

That's all well and good but driving like these two c*nts on a non competitve track day is bang out of order. A few times they nearly had a collision. If I get my car smashed up after all the work that's gone into it by some numpty driving like that. I'll go find him in the pits and kick his ****.

I also however blame the Marshalls, they should have black flagged these two cretins.

That video is a prime example of how not to drive on a public non competitive track day.

You know the risks when you take your car on. The guy in the car with the camera has a carbon fibre focus on ebay for £60,000. He does a lot of competing.Thats why you should get insyrance to cover your track days. As for not being competitive, when your on the track and having a good battle, its competitive, maybe not for funds or trophies but for the sheer fact that you dont want to lose. Your saying if a guy in an evo was chasing you hard, youd pull in and let him buy, I think not.. It always looks worse on the video than real life. Knockhill.... TOP CIRCUIT...Well driven Charlie shaw and Andy gallagher..

that is some of the best driving i've seen except for wrc... imo if your on a track day u go out and have fun, and that is clearly what they're doing.. if you're too worried about your car you shouldn't be on the track..not having a pop at anyone, i just think you should be able to drive freely

These can drive.... VERY well.

They are just having a bit of fun against each other in the vids. If they were seriously trying to go fast they wouldnt be trying to get it out of shape into the corners etc.

Were you watching the same video as I was?
The front drivers car seems to have a big brake bias problem, it was snaking everytime he slammed on hard and it went wide in pretty much every corner, if he wasnt trying to be an idiot he was doing a good job of being one
The camera car was driven better, didnt fly off the track like the lead car, and the female passenger definately got a **** off in there at some point

You can get them from about 7k now. But you'll spend 8k getting sorted . Would still love to own one at some point.

I thought that was pretty good. People exploiting their cars. I was personally waiting for the cossie to fly off the track.

You're missing the point completely!
This looks to be on a public track day where there will be first time track goers. On a few occasions they compromise other drivers and make things difficult for them.

I've no doubt about the skill of the two drivers I just think that their aggressive competitive driving against each other was inappropiate on this type of day. Every drivers briefing I've been on at these track days says that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.

All I'm saying is that kind of beat him at all costs driving should NOT take place on a public track day. Save it for competition!!
