After a look at the spec....
I'd suggest a Whiteline adjustable 22/24mm rear ARB and drop-links.
Best value mod on my car, kills body roll and understeer is massively reduced.
IMHO

If you go for the 24mm, you will have the same anti roll rate on middle setting as the 22mm is on hardest setting. If you are a smooth driver you can then try the 24mm on hardest setting, as much oversteer as you like...

Agree with this mate, also if you want to use your cash and treat the car have you considered a driver training day, I did one last year with andy walsh can't remember the name of the company I will dig it out, the day was around your budget and I learnt and gained more from that then any other mod I have ever bought. Two birds one stone treat you and the car,
So my vote goes either suspension or training day think then second would win if it were me

I had the geo done on my 2006 STI and it cost £80 for cash, having a Whiteline 22mm rear ARB fitted Tuesday which was £125.00 and £30.00 for fitting just having the geo done made a big improvement so with the ARB I'm hoping for more, seems a good value mod to me

Back again !
On my STI a 22mm bar on "stiff" is perfect, the car is planted, but it does oversteer on track as you push the car way harder than on the road.
KojaK has one on his mostly std. WRX and has it on the middle setting as he found his car oversteered too easily on the "stiff" setting.

P.S. Both bug-eyes.
