Question

My company has bought a corporate box so I'm going to check it out. Anyone been to a test day before? Does much happen there?

Hey mark, I went to the one which happened 2 weeks b4 the Brit GP last year, all the drivers and teams were there - it was excellent. Dunno about next week though, probably only a couple of teams as GP circus is still on the other side of the world.
Hope u have fun,
Chuck

I always thought test days were closed to the general public and no general access allowed. Please correct me if I'm wrong though, might pop up myself.

Les.... All test days are open to the public with free access, although viewing is restricted to certain areas. Normally around the woodcote area only. Admission is free.
Numbers of teams testing vary from day to day. The best test is prior to the GP and well worth going to.

We have a box that overlooks the pits (timekeeper box) so it should be slightly less boring if there are no cars on track

Practice is free and open to anyone however you have to leave your vehicle outside the circuit and have to use the stand by the Silverstone club on the outside of the start/finish. sometimes they have pit walkabout at lunch time.Best bet is to find out which teams are practicing then give the factory a call, see if they have any pit passes available, most teams are very pro
