Why does it need new windows? Do you mean just the glass? If so, contact your friendly LOCAL car glass place and ask.

I had to re-sit my drivers window last week Pimmo, as it stuck on my way home from Mac D's at 9:30pm and in minus 4 lol. Food was almost frozen, and my hands were blue lol.

But, its fairly easy mate. Take the door card off, you may need to loosen the window motor (3 small bolts) so you can slide it to the side while your dropping the glass in, but its not massively difficult just a bit fiddly. HTH.

I didnt have a guide mate, but Its pretty self evident what you need to do once the window card is off. The fiddly bit is getting the glass to sit in the runners properly. Its just trial and error really till you can wind it up and it'll sit flush.

LOL, you mentioned a motor in your post, so it could have been full set: window glass, motor, and even switches? How do we know unless you say? You need to be specific on here, you know we are all pedants

No local car glass place? What would you do if your windscreen broke?

Failing that, try a bodyshop, they do glass replacement too.

How hard CAN it be to do, though? Me and Andy, (COB) did the glass in his pug in about an hour and we had NO IDEA what we were doing

Scoob doorcards can be off and on again in under ten minutes

There *should* if memory serves, be 3 small bolts in a triangle holding the motor on. Loosen these first, and try and slide the glass in. It is fiddly, you will need to keep trying, you may need to wind the window up a little and physically jiggle it so that it sits in the runners correctly. Its a pain, due to the door card coming off, you need to keep plugging the connectors to the window controls etc back in to move the window, best bet is to get a friend to hold the door card whilst you jiggle the glass, bring it up and down to make sure its sitting in the runners correctly, otherwise it wont sit flush. You may have to give it some force, I was concerned the window would shatter, but it was ok in the end, just as mentioned, very very fiddly.

I was reading through this thread just thinking of that. It was well over 1 hour I can assure of that, but yes I agree you didn't have a clue and I had to keep pointing you in the right direction
