Having done some research, i think my recently purchased 1998 impreza may be one of the above.....is there any way of telling for sure? Another option may be thaat the parts were added later on of course.
What my car has...Front splitter, high rear spoiler, prodrive/bilstein/sti suspension, prodrive exhaust, prodrive ecu, and leather seats.

Not so Tony. You could buy a UK Turbo and send the car to Prodrive to have the conversion done.
PPP, Suspension, Body Kit and Interior.
acf8181, Looks like yours isn't a WR Sport as it's missing the Recaro interior. It should also have a WR sticker on the front wings.

The WR Sports came from the factory straight to Prodrive
the only other way was to buy all the extra's from the catalogue and have a dealer fit them, but as the WR sports were over 30k new it wasnt one you wanted to just buy parts for.

My other halfs mum had one of the first WR Sports, the car was bought before the WR Sport was available so the car was transported to Prodrive to be built. They went down to Prodrive and got a tour round the factory and picked up the car ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I thought the cars had to be built by Prodrive for them to be WR Sports?

They do have to be built, they are straight from the factory and it should be on the V5 as a WR Sport ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
All the bits are available seperately though in the accessories catalogue![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
