New Memeber / Scooby Owner - First Mod - HID Install
Hi Folks,
Just a quick hello.
Picked up a 03 blob eye WRX, in black, completely stock except a prodrive backbox. Absolutely loving it though, especially coming from an RX8.
You all probably take it for granted, but the turbo (turbo full stop) is sweet. I used to have a nissan 240, and had a full low comp rebuild on the KA24 engine, and had just enough cash/will power/interest to do a basic tubo, but that took some effort. So many options for the scooby, where does one begin
This afternoon I will be tucked away in the garage installing a H1 HID kit as my first mod to the car!
Mark

Bought Osram Nightbreaker bulbs from fleabay and one of the bulbs blew within the 1st 12 months! Usually my headlight bulbs have lasted years & years and wouldn't you know it no returns available (as the seller disappeared) so bought another two elsewhere....at least I've got a spare I suppose

hey you never know maybe you could dig around for another balast, and do one of these DIY HID Flashlights
Got the replacement bulb today, so all good to go. For £55 inc. shipping, hey. Let's see how long they last, he gave a 2 year warranty on them.
