Default Upgrading power, but doing it on a gypsy budget!

Evening Chaps.
I've started to collect the parts required to push my 2002 wrx bug into the 300bhp bracket.
Currently i have collected (mostly second hand).....
x1 vf35 turbo
x1 sti7 top mount intercooler
x1 uprated fuel pump (safe bet)(new)
x4 pink top feed injectors (new)

I have already installed....
x1 better pannel air filter (green)
x1 Ninja sport cat downpipe
x1 afterburner decat mid pipe
x1 resonated centre pipe
x1 STI Genome backbox
x1 3 port boost solenoid
x1 ECUTEC remap

What else will i need? My money is starting to dry up so i want to source as cheap as possible without compramising my build!

1.Thinking uppipe decat (STI) What is the internal diameter required? as i know too big a bore will lose boost
2. Should i get stage 7 spark plugs??

Thought i'd mention i have already uprated the discs and pads on the car, braided the brake lines and put better fluid in.

Don't want to fettle the suspension too much as i'm getting old and like how comfey the car is!!

Any suggestions would be just great.
Regards
Matt

Yeah this is what i thought, just trying to source a good priced uppipe is proving hard!

hi matt, the standard (decatted) sti uppipe will be fine for your car, fit this along with the above mods you have listed together with another map tweak and you should see 320bhp with simlar torque

as for plugs ive heared that ngk 8's are a good upgrade.

how you liking the Genome by the way

Cheers Rob, the genome is mega. Love the undrstated tone when just poodling about. However it's a different story when i floor it! Sounds like a bloody rally monster!
The only difference is i think i made a bit more torque with the ninjaII on. But it doesn't take anything away from the genome, it's a very very nice backbox. Christ knows why you sold it in the first place!!!

Yeah spoke to harvey, but the pipe he is recommending is £139! Too poor for that at the moment!
Was just seeing what other options i had. (as you said, plain STI7 uppipe)

i agree its not the best flowing backbox out there but it makes up for it in looks and sound, i think it looks much better without the orange and pink sti colouring on the side.
i was/am gutted i parted with it but not to worry..onwards and upwards

harvey smith up-pipe, because the gain you will get for £139 far outweighs the price.
lightweight pully set
lightweight flywheel

ok, if your on a budget go for just a crank pulley and go from there its not always about just chasing power figures but maybe about the feel or the car, id rather have a midley wild car bhp wise thats well setup then just a really wild car with crap suspension etc

I didn't know that a back box would affect the torque/power. I thought it was just for the sound, can you really feel the difference swapping box for box?? I find this hard to believe

I honestly can gonz. It's not like night and day, but you can feel it definately. I wouldn't bother posting something i didn't feel was worth it. Probably something like 5bhp difference tops, like having a full tank of fuel compared to an epmty one.

It can be improved upon. I'd say it depends on what trade off you want between sound/power. As in the few extra horses or ear ache!

backboxes can have an input when it comes to figures, i believe the scoobysport box is one of the best flowing out there, along with the AB Vortex so im told
