hi

bought a new car but the log book hasnt come through, the tax runs out at the end of the month.

ive taken a photocopy of the whole v5 before sending it off.. (bort off a mate).

as far as i can see , all they ask for online is the reference number on the v5.

if it is possible, i'll insure the car today , as i really want it on the road.

:should be able to do it on the net mate with v5 refrence number
i done this when i brought mine

You should have been given the green section of the v5 too which should be enough to tax it.

because it was bought off a mate.. the green section has already been filled and used for tax last year i think.. and then they never sent it to change owners (both previous owners were brothers) so i cant use that slip unfortunately, something like that happened.
