I've done that twice now, both times the number has ended with 666.

Dont think i'd bother a third time if i ever need to change it again tho.

Some of the phone numbers you can buy on ebay are ridiculous money, would be nice to have one but wouldnt pay hundreds of pounds for one.

How did you get it? They're just random numbers when given out ...

when we moved house i was given the choice of 2 no.s so ended up with the one with 555 in it as well

Paid £5 for my 555 number from ebay then got it ported over to my existing contract.

I blagged 505535 end of my mobile... not as good as 555 but near enough. I just said I wanted a number that was easy to remember!

Back in the early days of mobiles my BIL got given xxxxx 000000 as his mob nr ... he sold it for £900 back in the 90s

when i took my contract out @ phones 4 u they showed me 10 numbers i could choose from and after a couple of mins u refresh the page and the list is updated with more numbers , i took about 20mins lookin for a number i could easily remember
