Default pre mapping question

Car will be getting mapped around July. Car is MY07 WRX,Looking for some advice ?, i have a de-resonated centre section not fitted, prodrive 2nd de cat pipe, not fitted, prodrive y pipe fitted, forge bov fitted, green pannel air filter fitted, prodrive rear box fitted.

I also have one of thoses comedy massive alloy top mount intercoolers that i wont be fitting as I have been told the hawkeye top mount is good for 340 bhp.

first question, I was wondering if you can fit the 2nd de cat and de resoated centre section pre map with no ill effects on the engine?

second question, What elce will i need to get around 290ish bhp and around320lbs of torque. from the re map ?

I live 65 miles from Andy F so he will be the mapper of choice come july / august depending on a slot with him. P.S not greedy on BHP as i want to see how it stops and goes round corners with the extra power.

Not advisable to fit until remap time no.

270~290bhp is max for that turbo on that setup, 340lb torque.

many thanks simon fan of your work just to geographicly to far away from me to map ... drool @ 340 lbs of torque had loads of fast fords when was younger always went for rally cams for torque factor rather than bhp race ones

Might also want to think about losing the BOV. They do absolutly nothing for performance and generally cause far more issues than they are worth even after a remap. The standard recirc unit does a perfect job and shouldnt be messed with in an ideal world.

As noted you need to get the decat pipe fitted either at the same time or very shortly before the remap, so this can be taken into account when the car is mapped. Any reason why your doing the 2nd decat pipe and not the downpipe/both cats ?? Taking the 2nd one out without the first won't make much difference in all honesty - so you would probably be better off just doing both ??

Cheers,

Mav
