A well sorted 350bhp classic should eat the above. Top end might be a different story if the road & speeds get further. Ive seen a stripped out classic wrx with a tdo4 hybrid destroy a 911 turbo all the way.

Glad you saw that I was joking....
IMHO It all depends on the driver. I've never really launched mine, I don't fancy fixing all the damage, and to prove what exactly ?
I'd rather chase a nice car round some twisties than go drag racing. But that's just me.
Mercedes C63 AMG 8/6208 451/6800 1730kg 265 bhp/ton 4.7 0-60
BMW M3 (E90) --- 8/3999 414/8300 1680kg 250 bhp/ton 4.9 0-60
Audi RS4 '06-'08 -- 8/4163 414/7800 1650kg 255 bhp/ton 4.5 0-60
2002 STI Prodrive -4/1997 392/6350 1475kg 265 bhp/ton 3.8 0-60
911 Turbo (996)---6/3600 420/6000 1540kg 272 bhp/ton 4.1 0-60 (slowest Porker I could find)
In reality ?
dunx
P.S. Koenig-thingy 1000 bhp 0-60 2.8 and 254 mph. 70-100 is bad for me as I need to shift, 60 -90 now that's quick....

firstly hi again dunx,, hows the monster running?
id defo prefer the good chase on the twisties 2,, its not often that you touch anywere near 100mph on the roads nowadays,, so as said above a 350bhp classic would own all the above cars!
wayne.

I cant say on the m5 car but the rest ive owned the last 2 years lol
As for power and top ends ect ect there is so much to take in hand, ie are you wanting it for a track day, a race event, time attack, sprint course, or just on the road ..
My r26 and my type25 would beat all the above on the street including a fat laggy 500bhp new age.But as quoted above it depends who is driving.
Right here goes rs4 after 100mph upto 160+ not much keep up and stay there for a long time .
M3 depends what modell ok heavy and goes well but will also sit there at 140ish without any issues.
Porsche tyrbo 911 not to bad low down and can hold its own at top end .
Porsche carrera forget it ..
Ive had 440bhp-525 ft trq classic far to wild and fast for the street while u spinning 1,2,3 gears a solid 400 type r would be gone or like i said A type 25 or r26 f1 .
New age 500bhp most are laggy the new turbos from clinic and lichfiled are better.
Hope this helps you out.

yes we all can beat any car round the twistys bla bla bla but its difficult to measure and like said its down to drive comitment .
Thats why i asked for the scoobys weak point the straight line sprint rolling or launching.
Just interesting to me...
Still no comprehensive list.
Ie classic bhp. 0-60. 0-100 .top speed .etc
newage bhp.0-60.0-100. Top speed
hatch bhp. 0-60.0-100.top speed

Shabby ? Yes.... quick ?
Hmmmm, I've had it so long it seems normal....
I don't usually tit about, but I chased a drag Civic out of Elvington onto the A64, last summer and nearly ended up in the back of it....
He did chop lanes infront of me tho'.
I'm too old for all this.
PS Lewis (dunx)
P.S. 0-60 about 4, 0-100 a bit longer ( to busy hanging on ! ) limited to 156 mph @ 6000 rpm

I would agree to both post's, you dont always get to hit a 100mph specially if you live in London & it all depends on how you refer to each car Vs each other in terms of track, on the road or in a 1/4 mile. M3's are nice daily drivers but a 400hp scooby would beat it off boost . Weight, gearing & handling plays a big role on all cars.
