Default Figures for a PPP/Ecutek MY06 WRX?

I took delivery of my new and first ever Impreza today.
It'a a 2006 plate WRX.

My previous car was a K-Pro chipped JDM CTR which ran about 250bhp.
Disappointed that the Impreza WRX I have now is less with roughly 225bhp.

Not a biggy though as I plan a stage 1 mod on her in the next week or so.

My question is what is the difference in power figures and 0-60 if I went for a) Subaru PPP or b) Ecutek remap

My aim would be to increase power by 50bhp from standard.
On paper, Subaru quotes the WRX as 5.7seconds to get to 60, how much would it decrease by if the car was running 275bhp? I'm assuming it'll be like STI performance and hence in the sub 5 seconds? Would I be correct in this assumption?

PPP is a generic map so with careful mods you will get more power and way better acceleration/driveability and also for less money if you go down the custom remap direction rather than a one size fits all ppp map.

Or, for the same money as a PPP pack you could be looking at 340bhp + ... exhaust, filter, fuel pump, turbo and remap could all be done for the same price as the PPP and that would certainly make it entertaining to drive

Yeah - it will do well on 0-60 with that extra power because of the 5 speed gearbox. The Sti 0-60 figures are ruined with 2nd getting to 57mph and requiring an extra change of gear. Yours doesn't have that issue so would be sub 5 seconds for sure.

A Milltek decat 3" exhaust, Walbro fuel pump and Ecutek remap should see you right.
Before the power, have you considered firstly brakes and then suspension?
