I had an 05 car sourced through Cyprus.

As above, you may find you have different seats as well.

Don't listen to anyone who says because it is not U.K it is in some way inferior. Kept mine 30 months, no issues and got a very good return on the price i paid new.

Enjoy.

Default Cypriot car or JDM?

Over 75% of the cars sold in Cyprus are 2nd hand imported from japan. So there's a fair chance the car could be a JDM model.
When i lived over there for 3 years there were loads of scoobys, evo's and type R's being brought in and passed off as a Cypriot motors. No log books, no handbooks, jap stereo's that didn't work....
Just a thought....

i think he has refering to UK spec euro import from new. Which were obviously brand new UK spec cars.

Thought so but just i'd figured i'd throw that in. I did see some cars over there being passed off as UK/Euro spec cars that quite plainly weren't. One garage tried to sell me a full 'UK spec' Honda Integra DC5 tyre R. He went silent when i asked him how it was UK spec when they were never sold in the UK and it was an import only option.

Slightly off topic alert...... If you think there are some dodgy car dealers in the UK you should visit Cyprus, even the main dealers for some cars are shocking. BMW over charged me £50 for 1 litre of oil when an oil change (service 1) took 5 litres and all the filters was only £75!!!!!! The matter was discussed with the manager and BMW HQ.
