Default What to do with a dying UK 99 turbo

I was just wondering what I should or could do with my uk 99 turbo?
I've bascially been told it's miss firing and the big end is slack or knocking and that the engine is on it way out. Needs a new engine seems the short of it, anyway i'm getting myself a new car but was wondering what i should do with it? Does it have a greater value as it is or better as spares or even scrap?
Any advice is welcome?

many thanks

Paul

Either break it or sell it at a knock down price.

Sell it whole for £1500 ...... I assume it's a proper UK car and un-modded?

Cheers everyone for your advice. I haven't really got the space to break and use as spares so will look to sell whole...surprised that it maybe worth anything like £1500 but in fairness the rest of it is in goodish nick.

I don't think it would be worth 1500. But then I don't know how many owners/colour/history etc. But if its a tatty looking 5 owner car, then someone would have to be mad to pay 1500 quid.

Put up some more details is what I am trying to say.
