yes its not boosting the same as it did, there is no kick in it no more it will only boost to 0.7 bar in 1st gear where as before it boosted to 1.2 bar, in 2nd it gets to 1bar in 3rd it gets to 1.1bar and in 4th it goes to 1.2 but it runs out of steam before 6k revs its around 0.9 bar where as before it pulled all the way to 6.3 before it started to loose boost, i hardly ever thrash my car allways driving like a grandadbut over the weeks i have noticed it then the other day i yook it out and give it some thats when i defo noticed the above
the car is 2001 wrx with a 3" catback and a panel filter and a 3port boost solinoid
any ideas

To run a 3-port and that boost it must have been mapped as well

Have you checked all the pipes for leaks ?

Shaun

PS I just thought,,,have you activated an EcuTeK low boost map by mistake?

error codes can only be read with a code reader / laptop on a newage.

low boost - ecu could have pulled timing and then dropped the boost.. bad batch of fuel?

pipe off? is the lowr boost and lack of punch the only issue? idle fine?

EcuTeK has a "low boost" setting and can be switched on and off with full throttle and then pushing the rear screen demister.

AFAIK Dynamix will have used open source to map so not sure if that can be a feature or not.

I don't doubt what you are saying ..... it just makes me laugh my head off .... are you sure you don't give WOT, then HRW switch whilst turning around 5 times in the drivers seat signing the Subaru song?
