Brilliant rally.
My wifes Scottish, so it's good excuse to go, and I've been going every year since it went to a tarmac rally from it's original forest format.
That must be 13-14 years ago.
It used to start about 5 pm on the Friday and run until midnight. Start about 5pm again on the Saturday and run right through the night finishing early on Sunday morning. Not so bad as it took part in early July so didn't get dark until 11ish and start to get light again about 4am.
Those early rallies were before it became part of the British Championship, and I can remember Dom Buckly in a yellow Group A Impreza winning almost every stage. I was very impressed at how fast it went, as I had just bought my first Impreza then, back in 1997.
