Its already been sorted i went to my paintshop and he told me that to put a nice clear lacquer coat on the surface would have to be cleaned and keyed thus taking the signitures off so i've had some clear film put over them

Have you informed your insurance company?

A guy from the MLR has Tommi's signature on his bonnet and he had great trouble getting insurance quotes because of this. They were trying to argue that replacing the bonnet with an identical one would be v. v. pricey.

Where did you get that spoiler, looks the business without the autographs. Is that an official Prodrive one, or replica?

Looks like my STi 7 Prodrive spoiler, but has all the characteristics of the WRC spoiler.

Simon my spoiler is a real carbon fibre WRC spoiler i think there are a 3 more on road cars and one of those is in America so its quite unique

Why spend so much on a spoiler?

You must have money to burn?

Why don't you pay less than 1/2 the price and get a better looking WRX carbon fibre spoiler from DR Motorsport?

I'll stick my neck out, further my unpopularity more, and say I think it looks a bit naff (in addition to the unnecessarily large/tasteless spoiler)

But so long as you're happy.. that's all that counts.

 

Rb5scott, how much and does it fit the standared holes if you please?.

 

Oh and cut the grass

 

Over £1000 & no it doesn't fit the standard holes you will find yourself drilling a further 10 holes - this thing ain't ever coming off!!! Along with snipping the boot struts & it would also be handy to have a dremmel

Where do you get one?, well Pete Croney at ScoobySport tracked them down although as Scott mentioned earlier there are only 3 in the World as it came off last year's WRC car

I guess you will have to wait till this season finishes or beg Pete on 01268 590085 to try & get you one.......

Why don't you stencil the signatures and then get them cut out stick them on the spoiler and you will be able to laquer over it.
