hi folks im new just good my first impreza last week
it is a 2000 classic wrx import

welcome just make sure you run her on the highest octane fuel available or you can have serious engine issues as these are mapped for 100 ron fuel, 95 ron will just blow the engine up
Maf sensors are fragile so no nasty induction kits or oily air filters, also has the same effect as crap fuel

You need v power or tesco 99 really, and having the car mapped would help if you run it on esso 97 ron, it can still det on that stuff, knock correction is minimal to say the least on the older cars, also get a ks3 knock analyser (just google it ) and dont rag your car until you have either gone for the higher fuel or start adding octane booster per tank (or remapped) to be on the safe side, engine rebuilds are in the region of 3k
