i have a 98 version 3 sti... had it about 3 months.. its started a couple of days ago. firstly its idling is higher. and secondly when driving the revs take a while to drop beetwen gear change.any suggestions greatly received. thanks.

Sticky throttle cable or idle control valve. Have a look at the cable first

probably needing the idle control valve cleaned, and if still doing it i would try resetting the valve.
